About Me:
Dr Owais Sharif completed his psychiatry training in the UK and worked as a consultant psychiatrist in the National Health Service before moving to Bendigo in 2018. He specialises in General Adult and Old Age Psychiatry. His areas of clinical expertise include: memory disorders, depression, anxiety, psychosis, personality disorders, addictions, ADHD and pain management. Dr Sharif also has extensive experience of providing medicolegal reports for the courts and insurance companies.

We value all our patients and endeavour to get you in with a psychiatrist when you need it, but we need your help to make this happen. To avoid a cancellation fee, please contact the practice in no less than 24 hours if you are unable to make your appointment. If you have been unable to cancel your appointment within this time frame and do not show up, then you will be charged half of the consultation fee as per our cancellation policy.
We would like you to acknowledge the terms of the Cancellation Policy and also acknowledge that you are happy to pay the GAP fee which may have increased since your last visit ( check the website www.hargreavestmedical.com.au )
Please note, all appointments for the remainder of this year will be via video or phone consultation.

An additional fee of $150 is applied if an NDIS support letter is required. Screening forms for ADHD and ASD must be completed and uploaded at least 24 hours before the appointment. If the forms are not uploaded, a further appointment will be required and a 302 fee will be charged plus a gap of $150. In the case of the 291 assessment, the patient will need to pay full fee (no rebate available)
